Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your relationship with the operator of the online gambling services made available through freshbetis.com to users accessing the Fresh Bet offering. These Terms are effective from 20 January 2026 (last materially updated 6 November 2025).
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, the following expressions have the meanings set out below. Other capitalised terms shall have the meaning given to them in context.
- Operator: Ryker B.V., a company incorporated under the laws of Curaçao with registration number 154186, licensed by Curaçao eGaming under licence 1668/JAZ, which operates the Fresh Bet brand and the Fresh Bet offer via freshbetis.com, and may use affiliated entities including Ryker Development Limited (Cyprus) for payment processing.
- Website: the online gambling platform accessible primarily at freshbetis.com (including any mobile versions, mirrors or apps) through which the Fresh Bet services are offered, together with any relevant legacy content hosted at freshbet.com (for example general terms, bonus terms and self-exclusion information) to the extent incorporated by reference into these Terms.
- Services: all remote gambling, betting, casino, live dealer, esports, virtual sports, promotional, account and ancillary services made available by the Operator on the Website.
- Fresh Bet: the geo-targeted configuration of the Website and Services intended for customers located in the United Kingdom who access Fresh Bet via freshbetis.com, operating under a Curaçao licence and not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission.
- User or Player: any natural person who visits the Website, opens an Account or uses the Services, including UK-based users of Fresh Bet.
- Account: the personal, single-player gambling account registered in your name with the Operator for use of the Services.
- Bet or Wager: any stake placed via the Website on a casino game, live casino table, sports or esports event, virtual sport or any other gambling product offered as part of the Services, whether funded by real money, bonus funds, free spins, free bets or any similar incentive.
- Real Money Balance: funds deposited by you or credited as winnings that are not subject to wagering requirements or other restrictions.
- Bonus or Bonus Funds: any promotional balance, free spins, free bets, cashback, loyalty rewards or other benefits credited to your Account subject to specific conditions, including wagering requirements, game restrictions, maximum bet limits and expiry dates.
- Wagering Requirement: the number of times Bonus Funds, and where applicable any associated winnings, must be staked before they are converted into withdrawable Real Money Balance.
- KYC (Know Your Customer): the identity, age, residency, source-of-funds and source-of-wealth verification processes required by the Operator for regulatory, anti-money laundering and risk-management purposes.
- AML: anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing requirements under applicable laws and regulations in Curaçao and other relevant jurisdictions.
- Prohibited Jurisdictions: any countries from which the Operator does not accept players, including but not limited to the United States of America, the Netherlands and France, together with any other territories listed from time to time on the Website.
- Self-exclusion: a facility offered by the Operator under its own self-exclusion policy (as described on the Website and legacy page at freshbet.com/static/self-exclusion) allowing you to restrict access to your Account on the Website. This is separate from and not connected to the UK national GamStop register.
- Force Majeure Event: any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Operator, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, industrial disputes, power outages, network failures and failures of third-party service providers.
Account Registration
The Account Registration rules are designed to ensure that only eligible users access Fresh Bet, to protect minors and vulnerable persons and to comply with Curaçao licensing and AML standards, while acknowledging that the Operator is not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission.
Eligibility and age verification
- Minimum age: You may only open an Account and use the Services if you are at least 18 years old. It is a criminal offence in the United Kingdom for a person under 18 to participate in remote gambling. By registering, you confirm that you are 18+ and legally permitted to gamble under the laws of your country of residence.
- Location and grey-market status: The Services are provided under a Curaçao licence and are not regulated by the UK Gambling Commission. By using Fresh Bet from the UK you acknowledge that (i) UK-specific regulatory protections (including GamStop registration, UKGC dispute resolution and mandatory fund-segregation rules) do not apply, and (ii) player protection standards may be lower than those applicable to UK-licensed operators.
- Prohibited jurisdictions and VPNs: You must not register or use the Services if you are located in a Prohibited Jurisdiction (including the USA, Netherlands or France). You must not use VPNs, proxies or similar tools to disguise your location; doing so may result in Account closure and forfeiture of Bonuses and winnings, especially if conflicting IP history is detected during KYC.
Registration process and KYC
- Account creation: To register, you must complete the online form on freshbetis.com, provide accurate and complete personal details (including name, date of birth, residential address, email and, where requested, phone number) and confirm your acceptance of these Terms.
- Email verification: The Operator may require you to verify your email address and, where applicable, your phone number before activating your Account or permitting withdrawals.
- KYC documents: At any time, and in particular before processing withdrawals, the Operator may request documents including but not limited to a copy of your passport or ID card, proof of address (e.g. utility bill), payment method documentation (e.g. card statement, e-wallet screenshot) and evidence of source of funds or wealth. Documents may be re-requested if they expire or if risk levels change.
- Failure to complete KYC: If you fail to provide satisfactory KYC information, the Operator may suspend or terminate your Account, void Bonuses and void or withhold winnings, subject to applicable laws and regulatory expectations in Curaçao.
User obligations
- Accuracy of information: You must ensure that all information you provide remains true, accurate and up to date. You must promptly update your details via the Website or by contacting support if they change. Providing false or misleading information may result in Account closure and forfeiture of Bonuses and winnings.
- Single account: You may hold only one Account with the Operator. Opening multiple Accounts (including across freshbetis.com mirrors) is prohibited and may be treated as bonus abuse or fraud.
- Account security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any activity conducted through your Account will be deemed to have been carried out by you. You must not share your credentials with any third party or allow others to use your Account.
- Self-exclusion and responsible gambling: If you consider that you may have a gambling problem, you should use the Operator's self-exclusion tools and seek help from independent organisations such as BeGambleAware.org. You acknowledge that the Website is not connected to GamStop: if you are registered with GamStop, your registration will not automatically block access to Fresh Bet.
Betting & Gameplay Rules
These rules govern how Bets are placed, accepted, settled and, where applicable, cancelled, and set behavioural standards for use of casino games, live casino tables and any chat or community features on Fresh Bet.
Placing bets
- Game rules: Each game, event or market offered on freshbetis.com is subject to its specific rules and paytables as displayed on the Website or within the game client. By placing a Bet you confirm that you have read and understood these rules.
- Minimum and maximum stakes: Each game or market has defined minimum and maximum bet limits. Bets outside these limits may be rejected or adjusted. The Operator may change stake limits or impose personalised limits at its discretion for risk-management or responsible-gambling reasons.
- Acceptance of bets: A Bet is deemed accepted once it is registered on the Operator's servers and appears in your betting or game history. In the event of disagreement, the server records shall prevail over any display on your device.
- Game interruptions: If a game round is interrupted due to technical failure, the Operator will generally (i) resume the game from the last recorded state where possible, or (ii) void the affected Bets and return the stake to your Real Money Balance, subject to the rules of the relevant game provider.
Cancellation, voiding and settlement
- Player-initiated cancellation: Once placed and confirmed, a Bet cannot normally be cancelled by you. Certain pre-match or cash-out features may allow early settlement of Bets where offered.
- Operator-initiated voiding: The Operator may void Bets, in whole or in part, where (i) an obvious error (palpable error) in odds or game configuration has occurred, (ii) results were affected by technical faults, (iii) the Bet breached these Terms (for example due to bonus abuse), or (iv) regulatory or integrity issues arise. In such cases, stakes may be returned to your Real Money Balance.
- Final results: Bets are settled based on the official result declared by the relevant governing body or game provider. Post-event changes (such as disqualifications) may be disregarded unless explicitly stated in the market rules.
Conduct, collusion and prohibited behaviour
- Fair play: You must use the Services solely for personal entertainment and must not exploit any fault, loophole, latency, bug or error in the software or odds. You must promptly report any such issues to the Operator without attempting to benefit from them.
- Fraud and collusion: You must not engage in fraudulent activity, collusion with other players, chip dumping, match-fixing, advantage play based on inside information, automated play (bots) or any form of cheating. The Operator may review gameplay, patterns and transaction data and may suspend Accounts while investigations are conducted.
- Live casino and chat: Where chat or live-dealer communication is available, you must not use threatening, abusive, defamatory, racist, sexist, obscene or otherwise offensive language, and must not advertise other services or solicit other players. Breach may result in chat restrictions and/or Account suspension.
- Jurisdiction and VPN misuse: Placing Bets from Prohibited Jurisdictions or through VPNs or proxies is strictly forbidden. If such misuse is detected, the Operator may void affected Bets, cancel Bonuses and close your Account, subject to any mandatory legal obligations.
Responsible gambling note: The Operator offers tools such as deposit limits and self-exclusion on freshbetis.com but, as a non-UK-licensed operator, is not bound by UK-specific obligations. You remain responsible for monitoring and controlling your gambling activity.
Bonus Terms
Bonuses and promotions on Fresh Bet are designed to reward active players but are subject to specific conditions that may differ from those applicable to UK-licensed operators. By claiming or using any Bonus you agree to the following rules, which complement the detailed bonus terms displayed on freshbetis.com and, where referenced, the legacy bonus terms at freshbet.com/static/bonus-terms.
Bonus activation and wagering
- Eligibility and activation: The availability of welcome offers, reload bonuses, free spins, free bets, cashback and loyalty rewards may depend on your country, payment method, Account history and bonus preferences. Activation may require opting in, entering a bonus code or meeting specified deposit criteria.
- Wagering requirements: Unless expressly stated otherwise, Bonuses and any winnings derived from them are subject to wagering requirements before they become withdrawable. The applicable wagering multiple (for example, 30x Bonus amount) and the timeframe for completion (for example, within 7 - 30 days of credit) will be specified in the relevant offer.
- Game weighting: Different games may contribute differently toward wagering (for example, slots may contribute 100%, selected table games 10% and some games 0%). The contribution table for each promotion is published on the Website and may be updated periodically.
- Maximum bet and capped winnings: While an active Bonus is in play, a maximum bet per spin or game round may apply. Exceeding this limit can lead to confiscation of Bonus Funds and associated winnings. Certain Bonuses may also cap the maximum amount that can be converted to Real Money Balance.
Prohibited actions and bonus abuse
- Restricted games and patterns: Specific games or categories may be excluded from Bonus wagering. Placing large bets on excluded games, using low-risk wagering strategies (such as heavily hedged bets) or manipulating game mechanics to meet wagering requirements may be deemed bonus abuse.
- Multiple accounts and collusion: Creating multiple Accounts (including across mirrors of freshbetis.com) to obtain additional Bonuses, using shared devices or IPs to exploit promotions, or coordinating play with others may result in immediate cancellation of Bonuses and closure of Accounts.
- Combining promotions: Unless explicitly allowed, Bonuses cannot be combined. If you activate multiple promotions in a manner not permitted by the terms of the specific offer, the Operator may cancel one or more Bonuses and adjust balances accordingly.
Bonus management and removal
- Expiry and removal: Bonus Funds, free spins and free bets expire if wagering requirements are not met within the stated timeframe. Expired Bonuses, and any winnings derived solely from them, will be removed from your Account.
- Manual cancellation: You may request cancellation of an active Bonus via the Website or support. If you cancel, Bonus Funds and related winnings may be forfeited, while Real Money Balance normally remains unaffected.
- Operator discretion: The Operator may withhold or cancel Bonuses, or adjust balances, where it has reasonable grounds to suspect misuse, technical errors, or breach of these Terms, subject to applicable laws. Where possible, reasons will be provided and any Real Money Balance that is not the proceeds of fraud or abuse will be returned.
Payments & Withdrawals
This section describes how deposits and withdrawals are handled for Fresh Bet, including the use of third-party processors such as Ryker Development Limited (Cyprus). As the Operator is not UK-licensed, UK-specific safeguards (such as strict segregation of client funds) may not apply, and you should carefully assess the risks before depositing.
Deposits
- Methods: The Website may support deposits via bank cards, e-wallets, bank transfers, vouchers and cryptocurrencies, as made available on freshbetis.com from time to time. Availability depends on your country, currency, and technical or risk considerations.
- Processing and limits: Deposits are usually credited instantly but may be delayed by third-party processors or additional checks. Minimum and maximum deposit limits apply per transaction and per day, as displayed in the cashier.
- Fees: The Operator generally does not charge deposit fees; however, your bank, card issuer, e-wallet provider, crypto exchange or intermediary may impose their own fees or exchange-rate charges. You are responsible for such costs.
- Use of payment processors: Payments for Fresh Bet may be processed by Ryker Development Limited in Cyprus or other affiliated entities. Your card statement or transaction history may therefore reference these entities rather than Ryker B.V. or Fresh Bet directly.
Withdrawals
- General rules: Withdrawals are subject to KYC completion, risk checks, bonus conditions and turnover requirements. As a general principle, withdrawals should be made using the same method(s) used for deposits, where technically feasible and consistent with AML obligations.
- Processing times: The Operator aims to review and process withdrawal requests within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 1 - 3 business days after all required verifications are complete. Actual receipt of funds may take longer due to your bank or payment provider.
- Limits: Minimum and maximum withdrawal limits per transaction, per day, week or month may apply and are published in the cashier. The Operator may set individual limits based on your Account status, payment method or risk profile.
- Turnover and AML checks: To comply with AML requirements, the Operator may require that a reasonable level of wagering is completed before permitting withdrawals of deposited funds. Where deposit-to-withdrawal patterns indicate possible money-laundering or card-testing activity, additional checks and delays may occur.
Refunds, chargebacks and negative balances
- Refund policy: Deposits are generally non-refundable once used for gambling. In exceptional cases (for example, technical issues leading to duplicate deposits), the Operator may consider a refund to the original payment method, subject to AML checks.
- Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback or dispute a payment with your bank or payment provider, the Operator may suspend or close your Account, recover any outstanding amounts and charge reasonable administrative fees. Winnings may be voided where funded by disputed transactions.
- Currency and exchange: Where currency conversion is required, it will be performed at prevailing rates determined by the Operator or your payment provider at the time of the transaction. The Operator is not responsible for exchange-rate fluctuations.
Fund protection note: Player funds for Fresh Bet are held in accounts controlled by the Operator and/or its processors and are not protected by UK-specific client money rules or compensation schemes. In the event of the Operator's insolvency you may lose some or all of your balance.
Limitation of Liability
The Operator seeks to provide fair and reliable Services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation. This section explains the limits of the Operator's liability to you, subject always to any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including mandatory UK consumer protections where they apply).
Operator obligations
- Fairness and integrity: The Operator uses reputable third-party software providers and random number generators (RNGs) to ensure that games are fair and outcomes are random within the published rules. Game rules and paytables are available on the Website and/or in the game client.
- Accuracy of information: While the Operator endeavours to ensure that information (including odds, results and balances) displayed on the Website is accurate, minor delays or discrepancies may occur. In case of conflict, the Operator's server records and game provider logs will prevail.
- Reasonable care: The Operator will provide the Services with reasonable skill and care as expected from a Curaçao-licensed online gambling operator, but is not subject to UK Gambling Commission technical standards or audit regimes.
Exclusions and limitations
- Technical failures: The Operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from failures of telecommunications, internet connectivity, hardware, software or other technical systems outside its reasonable control, including Force Majeure Events and failures of third-party providers.
- Indirect losses: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator is not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption or loss of opportunity arising from your use of the Services.
- Maximum liability: Subject to the paragraph below, the Operator's total aggregate liability to you in respect of any claim arising out of or in connection with the Services (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) shall not exceed the higher of (i) the amount of the Bet or game round in dispute, and (ii) your net deposits to your Account over the 30 days preceding the incident giving rise to the claim.
- Non-excludable liability: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability which cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or, where applicable, death or personal injury caused by the Operator's negligence, and any mandatory rights afforded to consumers under the laws of their country of residence.
Risk note: You play entirely at your own risk. Online gambling may result in financial loss, and you should never stake more than you can afford to lose.
Intellectual Property Rights
The Website, Services and associated content for Fresh Bet are protected by intellectual property laws. This section explains how those rights are used and the limits on your use of the Website.
- Ownership: All intellectual property rights in the Website, the Fresh Bet brand, the Fresh Bet configuration, software, graphics, user interfaces, text, logos, trade names and other content are owned by the Operator, its group companies, the Upgaming platform provider or other licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.
- Third-party content: Game titles, graphics, audio, video and other materials supplied by third-party developers and platform providers (including those shared with related brands such as MyStake, GoldenBet and Velobet on the Upgaming network) remain the property of their respective owners and are used under licence.
- Permitted use: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Website and Services for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes only, in accordance with these Terms.
- Prohibited use: You must not copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, commercially exploit or create derivative works from any part of the Website or its software, except as expressly permitted by law.
- Use of brand and content: You may not use the Fresh Bet name, logos, domain names or other distinctive features in any way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without prior written consent from the Operator. Any references you make to the brand must clearly relate to the Services as offered via freshbetis.com.
Privacy & Data Protection
The Operator is committed to protecting your personal data and complying with applicable data protection laws, including the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation to the extent applicable. This section provides a high-level summary; full details are provided in the Privacy Policy.
- Privacy Policy: All personal data collected through freshbetis.com in connection with Fresh Bet is processed in accordance with the Operator's Privacy Policy, as published on the Website and, where relevant, on legacy pages on freshbet.com. By using the Services you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
- Purposes of processing: Your data is processed for purposes including Account creation and management, KYC and AML checks, payment processing (which may involve Ryker Development Limited in Cyprus), risk assessment, responsible gambling tools, marketing where permitted, and compliance with legal obligations.
- International transfers: As an offshore operator, the Operator may transfer your data to countries outside the UK or EEA, including Curaçao and Cyprus. Appropriate safeguards will be implemented where required by law.
- Data subject rights: Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase or restrict processing of your data, and to object to certain processing. Procedures for exercising these rights are described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to Terms
The legal framework for online gambling, including grey-market provision to UK customers, evolves over time. The Operator may therefore need to update these Terms and associated policies.
- Right to amend: The Operator may modify these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Bonus rules and other policies at any time to reflect changes in law, regulatory expectations, business practices, technology or the Services offered.
- Notification: Material changes will, where reasonably practicable, be communicated to you via a prominent notice on freshbetis.com (for example, a banner or pop-up) and/or by email to the address registered to your Account.
- Effective date: Unless a later date is specified, changes take effect when they are published on freshbetis.com. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
- Disagreement with changes: If you do not agree with any change, you must stop using the Services, request closure of your Account and withdraw any eligible Real Money Balance, subject to applicable verification and AML checks. In such cases, the version of the Terms in force at the time of your last Bet may apply to that Bet.
Termination & Suspension
The Operator may suspend or terminate your access to Fresh Bet in certain circumstances. You also have the right to close your Account at any time.
Operator suspension and termination
- Grounds for action: The Operator may suspend or close your Account, and withhold or confiscate Bonuses and winnings, where it has reasonable grounds to suspect or establish that (i) you have breached these Terms, (ii) you are under 18, (iii) you have provided false information or failed KYC/AML checks, (iv) you have engaged in fraud, collusion, money laundering or bonus abuse, (v) you have used VPNs or other tools to access the Services from Prohibited Jurisdictions, or (vi) required by law or regulatory authorities.
- Investigation period: During an investigation, your Account may be temporarily frozen, restricting deposits, withdrawals and/or gameplay. The Operator will aim to complete investigations within a reasonable time and keep you informed where appropriate.
- Outcome and funds: If a breach is confirmed, the Operator may (subject to applicable law and regulatory expectations) close your Account, void Bonuses and winnings and, where appropriate, return any remaining Real Money Balance that is not the proceeds of fraud or unlawful activity. In serious cases, authorities may be notified.
User-initiated closure and self-exclusion
- Account closure: You may request closure of your Account at any time by contacting customer support. Before closure, you should withdraw any eligible Real Money Balance, subject to verification and AML checks.
- Self-exclusion: You may request temporary or permanent self-exclusion as described on the Website and legacy self-exclusion policy page at freshbet.com/static/self-exclusion. Self-exclusion will apply only to the Operator's own platforms and is not linked to GamStop. You remain responsible for managing any national self-exclusion registrations.
Dormant and inactive accounts: The Operator may classify Accounts as inactive or dormant after a defined period of no logins or transactions, apply reasonable maintenance fees where permitted and, after extended dormancy and attempts to contact you, may close the Account in line with applicable laws and its internal policies.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This section explains which law governs these Terms and how disputes relating to Fresh Bet are handled, recognising that the Operator is licensed in Curaçao and not by the UK Gambling Commission.
- Governing law: These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of Curaçao, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence that may apply regardless of this choice of law.
- Internal complaints: If you have a complaint, you should first contact the Operator's customer support via freshbetis.com, providing your Account details and a clear description of the issue. The Operator will endeavour to investigate and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
- Escalation to regulator: If, after exhausting the Operator's internal procedures, your complaint remains unresolved, you may escalate it to Curaçao eGaming, the licensing authority for the Operator's 1668/JAZ licence, for review via the contact details published on its official site, including helpdesk@curacao-egaming.com.
- Courts and ADR: Any disputes not resolved through the above mechanisms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Curaçao, to which you and the Operator irrevocably submit, except where mandatory law grants you the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. As the Operator is not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, UK-approved ADR bodies such as IBAS are not available for disputes concerning Fresh Bet.
